Absolute Truth for Youth Bible Study

“⁶ These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. ⁷ Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Deuteronomy 6:6-7

This new ministry is being offered to students in grades 9 to 12 who are curious about what the Bible is all about and what it has to say about who Jesus Christ is. Young people curious about Jesus or wishing to grow closer to their Lord and Saviour will enjoy this verse-by-verse look at the Gospel of Mark.

This is not your typical youth Bible study. This study led by the pastor and his wife, will be filled with a Scripture-based lesson with plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion. This is not a lecture but rather an interactive class with back-and-forth conversation encouraged. Honest questions will be answered from a biblical viewpoint and not avoided or dismissed. The evening ends with a time for prayer and prayer requests. During this time the boys and girls will have separate prayers led by either the pastor (for the boys) or the pastor’s wife (for the girls). The evening should last 60-90 minutes.

We will even share a meal together once a month as part of the lesson.
